Luckily for the Fisker Karma Hybrid ($100,000+), the “World’s First” Luxury Electric Vehicle doesn’t fall short of remarkable – catering to both the eco-friendly and wealthy individuals of the world.
One of the main selling points of the Karma is what’s called the “Extended Range” feature. At initial start-up, the Karma operates in full electricity offering 50 miles. After that initial 50 miles, the 2.0L turbocharged engine kicks in offering an additional 200-250 miles. If you’re not sure what that equates to in actual distance traveled – it’s equivalent to driving from LA to Las Vegas on a single tank of gas.
